WELCOME TO THE INTERNATIONAL DIVERSITY LACROSSE COUNCIL, INC.

Founded in June 2007, the International Diversity Lacrosse Council is a premiere organization, representing the diverse community of lacrosse players, leaders, coaches, officials, administrators, and/or executives, both past and present, who seek to provide a foundtation for leadership and positive direction for a Diverse Lacrosse Community.  IDLC is dedicated to specific initiatives that offer the lacrosse community the opportunity to expand the growth of lacrosse throughout the world, and is committed to increasing the education, exposure, experience, and, most importantly, participation of everyone in all levels of lacrosse throughout the world.

Although inner city initiates are IDLC's focus, anyone can join and show solidarity with our mission.

IDLC will provide services and programs that speak directly to issues that impact Inner City Communities through the sport of lacrosse while embracing character building, mentorship, and leadership to support the World Lacrosse Movement.  IDLC will work toward immediately guaranteeing diversity in advertisements, product development, and lacrosse administration on every level, lacrosse manufacturing partnerships, equipment store ownership, sponsorships, and employment.  We plan to develop  Lacrosse programs, creating scholarships, camps and tournament, and youth elite teams.  We will co-host youth leagues, youth camps, and diversity clinics in the United States and targeted regions such as Jamaica, Africa, Brazil and other underdeveloped lacrosse communities throughout the world.  We plan to create and participate in all growing entrepreneurial opportunities in lacrosse.

We envision a future, which offers people everywhere the opportunity to discover, learn, participate in, enjoy, and ultimately embrace the shared passion of the lacrosse experience.
